Both 4th classes have been very busy at home doing lots of fun and exciting Science experiments from making their own lava lamps to building fizz inflators!!

Both 4th classes have been very busy the past two weeks learning about the Normans. The girls did fabulous projects on Adobe Spark while others went for the more traditional approach and made amazing posters. They were given specific criteria and had to do a lot of research. 

The girls were also given a challenge to create a Norman Castle using any materials that they liked. They were very creative and used their imaginations.

The girls from 6th class have been learning about photography with Michelle La Grue. Michelle asked the girls to show off what they had learned and submit a photograph of their choice to a special photography competition. The photographs have been on display in the school hall this week and on Thursday our visiting judge John Ohle picked three winners! Congratulations to Ciara Picard, Jules Murphy O’Grady and Freya Kelly whose photographs were picked for prizes. Well done to all the 6th class girls for entering the competition and a big thank you to Michelle for running these brilliant workshops.

Both 4th class girls have been very busy learning all about Japan. They looked specifically at the Japanese culture and traditions. The girls were given topics to include and were asked to compile the information they researched to create a project. It was evident from the girls projects that a lot of time and effort was put in to create the end product. The girls were also given an 'Origami Challenge'. They were asked to create their very own origami models.
