This month the girls were very busy in Senior Infants. Room 15 spent the month exploring the theme of the Doctor's Surgery during Aistear time, where they treated many sick patients and went into role as doctors, nurses, receptionists and patients. They had a lot of fun visiting our classroom Doctor's Surgery.
Senior Infants cheered on the Boys and Girls in Blue during the month of September, ahead of the the Men's and Women's All- Ireland finals in Croke Park. The girls were delighted when both teams won and took home the Sam Maguire Cup and Brendan Martin Cup.
The class explored dispersal of colour during Science classes this month. The girls used skittles and water to observe how colours can mix together.
Senior Infants showed great enthusiasm when beginning coding in school this month. They were introduced to BeeBots, where they used coding to move the BeeBots around our activity mats. The girls worked hard as a team to direct the BeeBot around the Farmyard.
