We were delighted to welcome our New Junior Infants to school today.  Ms. Shiels and Ms. Malone met with the girls and their parents and they all played together in their classrooms.  The parents then went to the hall for some tea and coffee which was organised by the Parents Association.  The girls quickly settled into the school day and had great fun playing with toys, colouring pictures, listening to stories and singing some songs.  Both classes also spent some time outdoors playing together.  We are sure that the girls enjoyed their first day in St. Brigid's and their teachers are looking forward to welcoming the girls back next week for lots of exciting and fun learning activities.
