Today Mrs. Delany's Fifth Class visited 'The Casino at Marino.' The Casino is a neoclassical structure and is considered to be one of the finest examples of this type of architecture in the world. It is a building bursting with surprises and tricks.

Thank you to our guides, Hazel and Brigid, whose wealth of knowledge and facts about the building were just amazing. The girls thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Their favourite rooms were the Zodiac Room and the State Room. 

Huge thanks also to Annette and Teresa who accompanied us on the long walk both down and back. It's safe to say that we were all exhausted on our return but the Casino was definitely worth the time and effort we spent to get there.

The girls from our sixth classes having been taking part in boxing as part of our partnership with Dublin City Councils sports officers.

Noel our trainer has been teaching us all about the importance of coordination and movement. 
We have also learnt lots of new boxing combinations and have practiced being quick on our feet. 

The girls are really enjoying the opportunity to try out some new sports!

Noel, our amazing caretaker built us an outdoor classroom using palettes this summer.

On Friday 16th of September, our whole school had the opportunity to go outside and splatter paint our new outdoor furniture! We buddied up with younger children and went outside for some fun.

We can’t wait to be able to use outdoor classroom very soon!
