There was great excitement in the school this week as we celebrated another Active Schools Week. This year was a bit different as we couldn't invite parents into the school for activities. However families were very active at home taking part in active challenges that were set by Noel our caretaker, Paula our secretary, Ray our Tag Rugby coach and Amy our GAA coach. The children and teachers were practising all week and challenged each on Friday. All classes were busy running laps of the yard as part of the Run Around Ireland Challenge. There was lots of friendly competition between classes as they tried to run as many kilometres as possible throughout the week. Classes also took part in cycling safety, Tag Rugby, GAA, an Active Orienteering Fairy trail and Noel set up an obstacle course to challenge the girls' speed and agility. Well done to the whole school in getting involved in the activities this week!
