On 13th February over 40 girls met in St. Anne's Park to take part in the Junior Park Run.  The girls all ran 2 kilometres in the rain and managed to keep big smiles on their faces as they did so.  This was the first time some of the girls had taken part in a Park Run while others managed to achieve some personal bests!  Well done to all the girls and their families for taking part.  Click on the image below for some more photos:

Ms. Barry's 6th class girls have been very busy learning all about China. As part of their study of the Chinese New Year the girls made Chinese dragons from clay.

As part of Creative Schools, 4th Class did a felt workshop with textile artist Niki Collier today. The girls learnt about how felt is made and they created beautiful love hearts from scratch. It's good timing for St. Valentine's Day! Niki also shared some of her amazing creations with the class including her spiky hat and models of viruses. The children really enjoyed the experience. Thanks Niki.

Junior and Senior Infants have been having lots of fun playing outdoors as part of Aistear. The girls have been very busy making mud pies, building towers and writing on our new chalk boards.
