Two of our pupils, Nicole Cleary and Aine O'Toole, recently attended the National Launch Day of the GAA's Healthy Club Project in Craobh Chiaráin. Watch some footage from the day below...

Our two Senior Infant classes put on a fantastic performance of 'A Wriggly Nativity' for parents. The girls really shone on the stage and did themselves and their parents very proud!  Ms.Howard and Ms.Shiels also worked very hard behind the scenes so well done to you too!

Ms Flynn & Ms.Reilly's Junior Infant classes are enjoying their second term in school. They have started gymnastics in P.E and are practising Yoga! The girls are also enjoying 'Aistear' - (Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework celebrates early childhood as a time of being, and of enjoying and learning from experiences as they unfold. This early learning also lays important foundations for later learning. Because early childhood marks the beginning of children’s lifelong learning journeys, this framework is called Aistear, the Irish word for journey). The theme for Aistear this month is the 'Supermarket' so the girls are getting lots of opportunities to buy groceries, talk about food items and role-play.

We had a very special visitor to our school today... SANTA CLAUS! He was so good to visit all of the classrooms and to speak to the girls. Click on the image below to view more images.

Santa Claus is coming to Town!

The 6th classes produced some beautiful works of Christmas Art & Crafts in the run up to the holidays. Included in these were stockings, knitted snowmen and Santas, cribs and paintings. Well done girls! Click on the image below to view more photographs...
