Mrs. Delany's 4th class have been very busy knitting all sorts of wonderful creations this year.  The latest challenge set by their teacher was Jelly Babies and the girls have definitely risen to this challenge.  The girls have really enjoyed this knitting project and their Jelly Babies, which they have had on display in the classroom, are very impressive. Well done girls!

Congratulations to the choir who took part in the magificent Peace Proms. You were fantastic both at singing and at dancing! You were also so well behaved for the whole afternoon we are very proud of you. A huge thank you to Ms Flynn and Ms Nagle who prepared the girls for this wonderful event. It was really special!

Before Christmas Ms. Kenny’s 6th Class completed fantastic STEM Projects. They did a lot of research, planning, designing and making before presenting their final project. Some of their projects included Earthquakes, Flood Garden Raft, Flood Proof Home, Tectonic Plates and Drought-tolerant Gardens. They were learning about the environment, renewable and non-renewable energy and climate change, and how these topics are linked. Their projects showed how the human race could survive if our climate changed dramatically. For example, their flood proof homes would keep us safe from rising sea levels and floods from rivers and lakes. 

They loved doing these projects and did so well in them that they invited 3rd to 6th Class in to view their projects.

Ms. Kenny’s 6th Class started Buddy Reading with Ms. Farrell’s 1st Class this January. We’re having a great time reading together and talking together. We’re going to be reading superstars! ⭐️⭐️📚📚 Watch this space!
