Ms.Malone's Junior Infant class visited our school library last week and got the opportunity to read and share lots of books. They also made a trip to the computer room, with some of our senior girls helping them to get setup on the PC's.

Our Active Week got off to a great start on Sunday when lots of our pupils, teachers and parents participated in the Parkrun in St.Anne's Park. Throughout the week the classes played badminton, tag rugby, cricket, Taekwando, Irish Dancing, Yoga, soccer, Gaelic and fencing. Active homework was given to the pupils during the week too. We also launched our Active School Walkway this year with the trail around the school grounds. Our annual Skipathon takes place on Friday as well as our student/teacher Dodgeball game!  A fantastic week of activity within the school! Special mention of thanks to Ms.Howard and the Active Committee members who co-ordinated the activities.

Well done to Tazmin in 4th class who constructed a Lego guitar and brought it to life, to play music, using the Lego Boost app. A great piece of engineering incorporating ICT!

A fantastic day in Irishtown Stadium for the Dublin FAI Schools Finals was had on Wed 25th April by our soccer team and mentors. Gary and the the girls remained undefeated throughout and played some super soccer. They topped their group, won their semi-final comfortably and played Our Lady of Good Counsel, last years Dublin and Leinster Champions, in the final. Georgie O'C (5th class) scored our first goal and OLGC went on to equalise in the last ten seconds. The game went to penalties and then sudden death where we were defeated 2-1. A wonderful performance from our team. Many thanks to Ms.Farrell for co-ordinating this year's FAI soccer league.
