Our Jun Inf, Sen Inf and 1st classes braved the poor weather this morning to perform for their parents in the yard! The girls and their teachers sang and danced along to eight popular tunes including 'Roar', 'Bare Necessities' and 'can't Stop the Feeling'. What a performance! Well done to all involved, the parents really enjoyed it!

Ms.Devilly's class  learned all about the lifecycle of a butterfly recently. The classroom was full of excitement these last few weeks as the children observed the changes that took place between each stage until eventually the butterflies appeared!! The girls enjoyed releasing the butterflies into the open air for them to enjoy the next stage of their life!

Our old unused yard at the back of the school has been transformed this week! Noel, our caretaker, was very busy preparing the surface for the new yard markings which include many playground games including hopscotch, a skip/balance/hop circuit, an alphabet snake and much more! Our classes are enjoying trying out the new games. Two games have also been added to an area next to our senior yard so the girls can make use of these during their activity breaks.

Mad hair day today in the school meant lots of crazy hairstyles! All for a good cause though as the children donated €1 to the Irish Cancer Society. A total of €666 was raised, thank you. As the fabulous weather continued today, all of the girls were treated to an ice-cream cone. This treat was our way of saying well done for all their hard work in class this year. Of course the teachers and other staff members also enjoyed the well-deserved treat too!
